French MotoGP 2019 LIVE: Latest results and action as Jack Miller looks for first win of the season - Fox Sports

Welcome to FOX SPORTS’ live coverage of qualifying for the French MotoGP. 

Honda’s world champion Marc Marquez has taken pole position for the French Moto Grand Prix with Australian rider Jack Miller to start alongside him in the front row.

The championship leader set a time of one minute, 40.952 seconds on wet tyres immediately before crashing in rainy conditions qualifying and will start with the Ducati duo of Danilo Petrucci and Miller in the front row in Le Mans on Sunday.

Spaniard Marquez leads the standings with 70 points after four races and will look to extend his one-point lead over Suzuki’s Alex Rins, who qualified back in 19th place.

Petrucci is fifth on 41 points, while Miller is two places below the Italian on 29 points.

Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso was in the second row with the Yamahas of Valentino Rossi and Franco Morbidelli.
