Pramac presents 2020 MotoGP livery - crash.net

With no opening race to take part in, the Pramac Ducati team switched the presentation of its 2020 MotoGP livery from the pits at Losail to an 'online' unveiling.

Running Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia for a second season, Pramac will now have both its riders on the very latest (GP20) machines.

“This year we made an exceptional effort together with the Pramac Racing Team to make the Desmosedici GP20 available to Miller and Bagnaia identical to those used by the two official Ducati Team riders," said Ducati Corse sporting director Paulo Ciabatti.

"For Ducati Corse it is the first time, but we are convinced that we have made the right decision to put Jack and Pecco in the best conditions and to be able to demonstrate their great talent on the track to give both the team and all Ducati fans great satisfaction in the MotoGP championship that we hope will start soon."

Pramac's usual red, white and blue has been tweaked for 2020 by 'Centro Stile Lamborghini', previously responsible for the team's special yellow-and-black livery at its home Italian round.

Miller, 25, took five podiums and a best-yet eighth in the world championship last season. The Australian goes into his third year at Pramac having been fifth fastest and top Ducati at the final pre-season test in Qatar.

Former Moto2 champion Bagnaia took a best finish of fourth during his rookie MotoGP season, when he was riding a year-old Desmosedici.

The Italian was eleventh quickest on his new machine at the recent Qatar test, where he also delivered an impressive race simulation.

The cancellation of Qatar and postponement of Thailand, due to government efforts to contain the coronavirus, means Bagnaia, Miller and the rest of the MotoGP grid are not set to race until COTA in early April.
