The following list shows the engine use for each MotoGP rider as of the Sachsenring in Germany, round 9 of 19.

Manufacturers without concessions (Honda, Ducati, Yamaha and Suzuki) are allowed a maximum of seven engine changes for each rider:

Ducati:

Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Danilo Petrucci (Ducati Team) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Jack Miller (Pramac Ducati) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Ducati) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Karel Abraham (Avintia Ducati) 3 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Tito Rabat (Avintia Ducati) 4 engines used, 1 withdrawn.*

Yamaha:

Maverick Vinales (Monster Yamaha) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Valentino Rossi (Monster Yamaha) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha) 3 engines used, 0 withdrawn.**

Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Honda:

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Jorge Lorenzo (Repsol Honda) 3 engines used, 1 withdrawn.*

Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda) 4 engines used, 1 withdrawn.*

Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Suzuki:

Manufacturers with technical concessions (KTM and Aprilia) are allowed nine engine changes per rider and are also able to modify their engine design during the season:

KTM:

Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM) 5 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Hafizh Syahrin (Tech3 KTM) 5 engines used, 1 withdrawn.*

Miguel Oliveira (Tech3 KTM) 5 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Aprilia:

Andrea Iannone (Aprilia Gresini) 4 engines used, 0 withdrawn.

Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Gresini) 4 engines used, 1 withdrawn.*

* A 'withdrawn' engine means it is no longer available, usually because it has either reached the end of its lifespan or suffered some kind of damage.

**Quartararo's lower-spec M1 package is thought to mean he has only 5 engine changes planned for the season, instead of the full 7 allowed.
