MOTOGP returns for the third race of the season - the Grand Prix of the Americas.

In a farcical start, Jack Miller was the only rider at the front of the grid after a high-risk tyre gamble paid off.

The Aussie opted for slicks in a rapidly drying track with everybody else changing to wets and controversially being allowed to start on the grid rather than from the pit lane.

When is MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas?

The Grand Prix of the Americas will take place on Sunday, April 22 at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

The race will begin at 8pm in the UK after Moto3 at 5pm and Moto2 at 6.20pm.

Before that, there will be two practices at on Friday, April 20 at 3.55pm and and 8.05pm.

A third practice will follow on Saturday, April 21 at 3.55pm before qualifying at 8.10pm.

What TV channel and live stream is MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas on?

MotoGP will be live on BT Sport this season.

The entire race weekend, including Moto2 and Moto3 will be shown on BT Sport 2.

Coverage of race day will get underway at 2.30pm on Sunday, April 22 with the warm-ups.

Moto3 will follow at 4.15pm before Moto2 at 6pm and the main event at 7.30pm.
