A first copy of the 2018 schedule shows the venue of the British Grand Prix as 'TBC'.
Silverstone has hosted every British leg of MotoGP since 2010 after the event moved away from long-time home Donington Park.
Donnington played host between 1987 and 2009 but seven years ago the race switched the circuit where the British Motor Racing Grand Prix takes place every year.
MotorCycleNews report MotoGP could be heading back to his former home next year.
It's claimed a deal with Donnington was signed before last weekend's San Marino Grand Prix at Misano.
Thailand's Buriram Circuit is a new destination on the MotoGP calendar.
That race is set for October 7.
The season-opener in Qatar is scheduled for March 18.
